Information About Existing WTI Bookings

Columbia's new travel management company (TMC) is Direct Travel, which has replaced World Travel Inc. Travelers continue to use Concur Travel, the same online booking tool to make reservations.

However, travel reservations booked through World Travel on or before August 31, 2026 will continue to be serviced and supported by World Travel regardless of the actual travel date. Travelers are encouraged to review the following information concerning any future travel arrangements already made through World Travel inc.

FAQ: Existing Bookings & Transition Impacts

Reservations booked prior to August 31, 2026 will continue to be serviced exclusively by World Travel. Any changes, cancellations, exchanges, or other modifications to these existing bookings must be handled through World Travel even after the transition to Direct Travel.

Existing bookings will remain visible in Concur. However, the detailed itinerary information for those trips (including flight, hotel, rail, and car rental details) will no longer be accessible within Concur after the transition to Direct Travel. If you need copies of travel confirmations and itinerary details, you may need to contact World Travel to obtain more detailed documentation.

Please be advised that calls placed to World Travel between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. ET on weekdays, and at any time on weekends and holidays, will be handled by WTI's after-hours service center. A fee of $25.00 will be charged for each after-hours call.

FAQ: WTI Support & Service Hours

As the number of remaining Columbia travelers with bookings originally made with WTI will decrease over time, please note the effective dates of the methods of support available below:

  • Now through October 30th
  • From October 31st - December 21st
    • Phone only: 855-961-0313 or 484-948-2514
    • (Email address will no longer be active after October 30th)
  • After December 21st
    • Phone only: 888-979-0400
    • (The above phone number will be the only active number as all other phone numbers will no longer be active)

WTI after-hours service will incur a $25 service fee per call or email charged to the original form of payment. All calls will automatically roll over to WTI’s emergency service center.

FAQ: Unused Travel Credits and Tickets

No. Unused airline tickets and unused travel credits issued through World Travel will not be transferred to Direct Travel.

Any unused tickets or credits that were not applied to a future travel booking nor refunded (if eligible and subject to airline penalties) before the Direct Travel transition were forfeited in accordance with airline rules and contract terms.
