Concur Guest Booking

Concur has introduced a new Guest Travel booking process that requires travel arrangers to create and complete a Guest Profile before booking travel for a guest. The intent is to capture the guest’s information at the beginning of the booking process, eliminating the need to re-enter that information on the checkout page.

This change is part of Concur’s ongoing migration to the new Concur Travel experience and is not related to the recent transition to Direct Travel.

When a CU Travel Arranger clicks “Book for a guest,” they will now see a Guest Profile pop-up window.

With the new process, Concur creates an actual Guest Profile rather than treating the guest as a one-time traveler. The profile has a termination date that defaults to six months but can be extended by the arranger.

Once the profile has been created, the guest’s information can be reused for subsequent bookings while the profile remains active, eliminating re-entry of information on the checkout page.
